[AVAILABLE ✅] - Foundational Elegance: 1962 Seiko Seikomatic 20 Jewels (Ref. J13044)

This serviced Rare Vintage 1962 Seiko Seikomatic 20 Jewels Ref. J13044 represents an early and essential chapter in the history of Seiko’s automatic watchmaking. Powered by the reliable 20-jewel Caliber 603 movement, this timepiece delivers the smooth mechanical performance and slim, refined profile that the Seikomatic line - Seiko’s first dedicated line of self-winding watches - is celebrated for.

Recently serviced, the watch runs accurately and operates reliably for daily wear. The elegant silver sunburst dial remains in its 100% original condition, featuring sharp applied indices and polished dauphine hands that offer a clean, mid-century aesthetic. The dial is correctly marked with the "Water 30 Proof" designation and the iconic SD (Special Dial) star logo at 6 o'clock, reflecting the high-quality finishing typical of early-60s premium Seiko models.

The stainless steel case remains in excellent condition, retaining its original factory geometry and the characteristic recessed crown at 4 o'clock, which creates a seamless, symmetrical silhouette on the wrist. Every critical component of the watch head - including the original dial, crown, and case - is entirely original and factory-correct, confirming its authentic Japanese provenance. While the watch head remains in its original factory state, it has been paired with a high-quality exotic-pattern leather strap that perfectly complements its timeless dress-watch presence.

Highly regarded by collectors for its role as a foundational model in the Seikomatic lineage, the J13044 is a standout example of early automatic excellence. This 1962 example offers a superb combination of rarity, mechanical simplicity, and everyday usability - making it a compelling and highly collectible addition to any serious vintage Seiko collection.
