This serviced 1964 Seiko Skyliner Ref. 16001 represents mid-1960s Japanese horology, embodying the mid-century dress elegance and mechanical refinement of Seiko's celebrated hand-wound lineup. It is powered by the respected 21-jewel Caliber 402 manual-winding movement from Suwa Seikosha, engineered with an ultra-slim profile, Diashock shock protection, and traditional architectural robustness. Following a full mechanical service, it operates with silky-smooth hand winding, stable balance amplitude, optimal efficiency, and crisp, dependable performance.

The hallmark of this timepiece is its factory-original silver sunburst dial, capturing light with sharp precision across its radiant surface. Adhering to a pure, uncluttered time-only layout, it highlights textbook mid-1960s geometric symmetry and timeless minimalist sophistication. The dial is appointed with an applied gold-tone cursive Seiko Skyliner logo banner, crisp "21 Diashock" typography accompanied by the Suwa factory insignia, faceted gold-tone hour markers with a prominent double index at 12 o'clock, and razor-sharp dauphine hands.

The 36mm electro gold-plated (EGP) case preserves its sharp factory geometry, slender polished bezel, and gracefully tapered lug contours that sit comfortably and elegantly on the wrist. The watch head remains 100% authentic and unaltered, retaining its original factory dial, hands, crystal, case, low-profile crown, and 21-jewel manual caliber. It comes paired with a premium textured black leather strap.

An exceptionally well-preserved 1964 Seiko Skyliner reference combining ultra-slim manual-wind engineering, pure time-only symmetry, warm gold-tone executive aesthetics, and iconic vintage script typography.
