This serviced 1969 Citizen Chrono Master Ref. 4-520840 Y represents late-1960s Japanese high horology, embodying the elite chronometric mastery and executive prestige of Citizen's pinnacle lineup created to rival Grand Seiko and King Seiko. It is powered by the celebrated 33-jewel Caliber 5270 chronometer-grade automatic movement, featuring manual winding, hacking seconds, and quickset date functionality. Following a full mechanical service, it operates with supreme chronometric precision, optimal amplitude, and crisp calendar advancement.

The hallmark of this timepiece is its professionally restored silvery-white dial, capturing light with sharp precision across its immaculate surface. The executive layout is appointed with an applied silver CITIZEN logo, crisp cursive Chrono Master script, the iconic Citizen eagle insignia with "Chronometer Auto Day-Date 33 Jewels" designation, faceted baton hour markers with black contrast inlays, razor-sharp hands, a distinguished curved full-day aperture below 12 o'clock, and a framed date window at 3 o'clock.

The 36mm stainless steel case preserves its sharp factory geometry, mirror-polished planar surfaces, and distinctive faceted lug contours that sit commandingly on the wrist. The caseback proudly displays its original gold Citizen Chrono Master eagle medallion, intact and well preserved. While the dial has been expertly refinished to pristine condition, the watch head retains its original factory hands, crystal, case, and signed crown. It comes paired with a premium textured black leather strap.

An exceptional 1969 Citizen Chrono Master reference combining top-tier 33-jewel chronometer automatic engineering, distinguished full-day window architecture, intact caseback gold eagle medallion preservation, and a flawless visual presentation.
