This outstanding 1969 King Seiko Ref. 5621-7000 represents the pinnacle of Seiko's late-1960s high-grade watchmaking from the Suwa Seikosha factory. It is powered by the celebrated 28,800 bph Hi-Beat Caliber 5621 automatic movement, renowned for high precision and long-term durability. Following a complete mechanical service, it runs accurately and operates reliably for years to come.
The defining feature of this rare variant is its 100% original silver sunburst dial configured without a date window. This "No-Date" layout offers a perfectly balanced, symmetrical aesthetic with razor-sharp applied indices and classic faceted hands, while completely eliminating common vintage date-quickset vulnerabilities.
The 36mm stainless steel case preserves its iconic Grammar of Design geometry, featuring sharp facets, angular lugs, and its original signed KS crown. On the reverse, the caseback is fitted with the original solid gold KS medallion, exhibiting authentic age-related character that confirms its vintage provenance. It comes paired with a high-quality replacement leather strap.
An exceptionally clean and desirable no-date King Seiko reference, offering an unblemished combination of mechanical superiority, visual symmetry, and enduring horological value.
