This serviced 1971 Seiko King Seiko 56KS Ref. 5626-7110 represents early-1970s Japanese horology, embodying the uncompromising Grammar of Design aesthetic and chronometric mastery of Suwa Seikosha's pinnacle executive lineup. It is powered by the celebrated 25-jewel Caliber 5626 Hi-Beat automatic movement (28,800 bph), featuring manual winding, hacking seconds, and quickset day-date functionality. Following a full mechanical service, it operates with supreme precision, optimal efficiency, and flawless day/date advancement.

The hallmark of this timepiece is its professionally restored silvery-white sunburst dial, capturing light with sharp precision across its immaculate surface. The executive layout is appointed with an applied silver SEIKO logo, crisp "KS Hi-Beat" typography accompanied by the Suwa factory insignia, faceted baton hour markers with sleek black contrast inlays and a prominent double index at 12 o'clock, razor-sharp hands, and a framed bilingual English/Kanji day-date window at 3 o'clock.

The 36mm stainless steel case preserves its sharp factory geometry, mirror-polished planar surfaces, and distinctive faceted lug contours that sit commandingly on the wrist in true Grammar of Design fashion. The caseback proudly displays its original gold King Seiko medallion, intact and well preserved. While the dial has been expertly refinished to pristine condition, the watch head retains its original factory hands, crystal, case, and signed "KS" crown. It comes paired with a premium brown leather strap.

An exceptional 1971 King Seiko 56KS reference combining elite 28,800 bph Suwa chronometry, dual-calendar utility, intact caseback gold medallion preservation, iconic Taro Tanaka case architecture, and a flawless visual presentation.
