This serviced 1972 Seiko Lord Matic Special Ref. 5206-5060 represents early-1970s Japanese horology, embodying the pinnacle mechanical sophistication and avant-garde geometric styling of Daini Seikosha's revered LM Special lineup. It is powered by the celebrated 23-jewel Caliber 5206 Hi-Beat automatic movement (28,800 bph), featuring manual winding, hacking seconds, and Seiko's iconic instantaneous date change complication. Following a full mechanical service, it operates with supreme precision, optimal efficiency, and crisp, dependable performance.

The hallmark of this timepiece is its professionally restored deep midnight blue dial, capturing light with sharp clarity across its smooth surface. The executive layout is appointed with an applied silver SEIKO logo, the applied "LM" emblem alongside elegant cursive Special script, crisp "23 JEWELS" typography accompanied by the iconic Daini lightning bolt insignia, faceted baton hour markers with sleek contrast inlays and a prominent double index at 12 o'clock, razor-sharp hands, and a framed bilingual day-date window at 3 o'clock.

The 35mm stainless steel square tank case preserves its sharp factory geometry, brushed upper planar surfaces, and polished bevels that sit comfortably and architecturally on the wrist. Maintaining its classic executive identity, it positions its original winding crown neatly at 3 o'clock. While the dial has been expertly refinished in a rich navy tone, the watch head retains its original factory hands, crystal, case, crown, and high-grade 52-series caliber. It comes paired with a premium textured dark blue leather strap.

An exceptional 1972 Lord Matic Special reference combining elite 28,800 bph Daini hi-beat engineering, the historic foundation of the modern 4S caliber family, avant-garde square tank architecture, and a striking midnight blue visual presentation.
